Startling art of the housing collapse

Artist Michael Jantzen's recent photo series is a quirky, thought-provoking take on the foreclosure crisis and America's fondness for McMansions. (Read more about it on Yahoo! Homes' Spaces blog.) Although he does build 3-D versions of some of his conceptual artwork, these particular Cubist-style structures exist only digitally. He photographed houses in the St. Louis area, where he was born and raised, and then he manipulated the pictures by computer. Prints are available by emailing him through his website.
