Inside Robert Pattinson's rather pretty $6.75M house

As one might expect from a brooding heartthrob actor, the vicissitudes of Robert Pattinson's real estate choices are directly tied to his love life. After ending things with "Twilight" co-star Kristen Stewart, Pattinson supposedly found solace in the graces of Reese Witherspoon's rustic country home before quietly starting afresh with a Beverly Hills rental and whisper-listing the L.A. home he and Stewart once shared.

Now, the former love nest is officially on the market for $6.75 million, reports Curbed LA -- news sure to ignite a flurry to stalker activity from Twihards all the world over.

Sadly for those peepers, Pattinson's Mediterrean-style estate, designed by SoCal architect Stiles O. Clements in 1922, is situated in a private gated community off Mulholland Drive.

It features beamed and/or vaulted ceilings throughout its 4,000 square feet; some incredible-looking tilework and funky wallpaper; black-and-white checkerboard flooring in various rooms (it has three bedrooms and four baths); and, on its 1.45 acres, a pool, waterfalls, gardens, and an amphitheater. According to Zillow Blog, he bought it from Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for $6.275 million in September 2011. | By Sarah Firshein, Curbed
