Location: Del Mar, Calif.
Price: $6,750,000
The Skinny: Certain aspects of this brand-new modern residence in the San Diego County city of Del Mar are a little difficult to figure out. Where, for instance, is the entrance, exactly? And how is the living room skylight underwater? The brokerbabble mentions "a lower level game/media room with refreshment bar and a spectacular skylight view to the upper level swimming pool," which means that part of the house is underground? Or the pool is on the roof? Despite the lack of a floorplan (or perhaps because of it) this quite an interesting place, including, in addition to the vanishing pool (wherever it happens to be), a bridge, waterfall, garden shower, and views of the Pacific. The 5,500-square-foot house is asking $6.75M.
