It’s fun to imagine stars living in sprawling Hollywood Hills estates, but sometimes a modest 1-bedroom condo is more believable for an actress hopping between movie sets.
While Scarlett Johansson owned a stunning mid-century modern home with then-husband Ryan Reynolds, she also kept a 1-bedroom, 2-bath unit in the Hollywood Versailles Tower starting in 2003. She recently handed over the keys to that modest condo for $470,000, according to public records cited by the Los Angeles Times. She'd listed it for $425,000 in May. The Johansson condo is 1,148 square feet, average in size for a 1-bedroom, but dramatic granite installations in the kitchen, a butterfly-festooned bathroom and other high-end touches add an air of luxury. Elements of Hollywood glam include gold sinks in the master bath and a dressing-room vanity surrounded by stage lights.

The actress bought the condo for $372,000 in July 2003, the same year she starred in “Girl With a Pearl Earring” and “Lost in Translation.” Now the Golden Globe nominee is set to star in a Sundance comedy, “Don Jon,” scheduled for release in September. Here's the racy trailer for that movie:
