Pat Bybee honored with University of Denver memorial scholarship

Pat Bybee, a respected leader in the real estate community who died suddenly in a head-on car collision two weeks ago, will be memorialized with a University of Denver scholarship fund in her name. Bybee led the Denver-area multiple listing service Metrolist Inc. for 27 years.

Depending on the total money raised and what the university matches in endowment funds, the fund will be awarded, from among those that apply, to one, two or three graduate or undergraduate students in the university's Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management.

"It's a nice way to honor Pat," said Gregg Larson, CEO and founder of real estate consulting firm Clareity Consulting who spearheaded the fund's formation along with his former Clareity partner W.B. Freeman.
