Lance Bass' living room
In the celebrity real estate world, the biggest indicator that a star is going to list a home is when it’s offered as a rental. Leonardo DiCaprio went this route as did his “Titanic” co-star Kate Winslet, and now it appears singer Lance Bass is trying the same tactic.
Bass first listed his Manhattan place on VRBO for $500 a night, according to Curbed, as he was spending more and more time on the West Coast with his boyfriend. Now that the pair are engaged, it looks like Bass may be looking to head to California full time, listing his Chelsea condo for $2.225 million.
Situated in the uber-trendy Chelsea Mercantile building, which has a Whole Foods on its ground floor, Bass’ condo measures 1,344 square feet with 1 bedroom and 2 baths. “Meticulously and fully renovated,” the home also has an open kitchen with high-end appliances, as well as 11-foot ceilings and a wall of windows in the living room.
Bass is best known as one of the five members of the super popular, early-2000s boy band ‘N SYNC. He did a six-month stint in Broadway’s “Hairspray” and has lent his voice to animated pieces. He currently is in contract to begin a Sirius radio show.
This listing is shared by Corcoran agents Robby Browne, Chris Kann and Jennifer Ireland.
