It’s not Melrose Place, an apartment building in Los Angeles, but a charming bungalow with ocean views in Marina del Rey.
Actor Grant Show, best known for playing Jake Hanson on the ’90s hit series “Melrose Place,” just bought a new Venice-area home for $1.745 million, according to property records. Show owns the home with his new wife, actress Katherine LaNasa. The couple tied the knot last August in Topanga, CA.
Their new love nest is small but charming: a 1922-built home with a wide front porch and beachy feel. The home measures 1,552 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. Paying nearly $2 million for a 1,500-square-foot home may seem like a lot for most parts of the country, but in the Venice area, where home values hit around $1.138 million, it’s the norm.
Show has kept busy since his days on “Melrose Place” ended, landing roles on TV shows including “Beautiful People,” “Private Practice” and Lifetime’s new series “Devious Maids.”
LaNasa does TV work of her own, guest starring on “Big Love,” “Two and a Half Men” and recently snagging a role on NBC’s “Deception.” LaNasa was also previously married to actor Dennis Hopper for four years in the early 1990s.
