Boys Like Girls frontman Martin Johnson may be “love drunk,” but he’s moving on from his modern 2-bedroom. Located at 3460 Coldwater Canyon Ave, Studio City, CA 91604, the gated home is now listed for $1.15 million.

Johnson purchased the property in January 2011 for $737,000 and, according to the Los Angeles Times, proceeded to spend $60,000 on renovations.

The 2,681-square-foot Studio City home has two fireplaces — one with a large moose head anchored above. A floor-to-ceiling bookshelf also makes an eclectic statement in the living room.

Another highlight is the recording studio, where Johnson likely worked on songs for his band and several solo artists including Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus, who moved into the neighborhood shortly after Johnson in 2011.

Situated on the upper hills of Studio City near Ventura Boulevard, the house also boasts balconies with expansive canyon views and modern fixtures throughout the 3 bathrooms.

Now is a good time for a prospective buyer to pick up the property, as Studio City home values are expected to increase about 8 percent next year. Johnson’s home is about 47 percent more expensive than the mid-point home in the area, but is priced slightly less per square foot.

While Johnson has sold more than 10 million copies of his catchy pop-rock singles, he is most recently credited with producing and co-writing Avril Lavigne’s “Here’s to Never Growing Up.” The singer and songwriter lived in Andover, MA before hitting the L.A. music scene.
