Manny Pacquiao Hopes for a Knockout With LA Home Sale

Manny Pacquiao's home

New to the real estate ring is a Hancock Park single-family residence. Standing at 4,273 square feet and offering 5 bedrooms and 6 baths, the home would net the owner a 24.4 percent profit at its current asking price.

Owned by boxer Manny Pacquiao, the home at 526 N Plymouth Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90004 is listed for $2.7 million, according to NESN; Pacquiao bought the home for $2.17 million in 2009.

The “Fighting Pride of the Philippines” offered a tour of his place on “MTV Cribs” in late 2010, and judging from the listing photos, many of the amenities Pacquiao pointed out — including a room devoted to his trophies and a slick kitchen with coffee bar —  are still there. The modern home features high-end finishes, marble and Brazilian wood floors and glassy light fixtures.

The backyard, which is where Pacquiao said his family often spends time, features a pool and spa with water feature and several patios.

According to property records, this is the only residence Pacquiao owns in L.A. He bought a new $9.5 million home in his native Philippines in 2012.

Just because Pacquiao is listing his L.A. home doesn’t mean the prize fighter is ready to retire. He recently told the Wall Street Journal that he’s ready to bounce back from losing his last two matches. He’ll fight Brandon Rios this November in China.

The listing is held by Nick Enciso of Century 21.
