Greece needs humanitarian aid: Official

European Parliament President Martin Schulz addressed the results of the Greek referendum on Sunday evening.

He said Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis's promises that banks would re-open in a day or two "very difficult and dangerous" and said Europe needed to urgently discuss humanitarian aid for Greece.

Greeks voted decisively in favor of the "no" option-asking their government to turn down a proposal from its creditors that would have included more austerity reforms.
