EVERYWHERE—Pantone, apparently a stone's throw behind House Beautiful, has named 17-5641 Emerald as the 2013 color of the year because it "continues to sparkle and fascinate," said a rep in a statement. Cue the green-themed decor roundups: Elle Decor, HGTV's Design Happens, If the Lamp Shade Fits, The Decorista, All Things Thrifty, The Decorologist, and Apartment Therapy. [CurbedWire Inbox]

THE INTERNET—Please say hey to Rosingly, which launched in mid-November and is billed as "the web's first and only local-centric daily deals site for designer furniture and home goods." What sets the site apart, according to reps, is that they've "essentially cut out the middle man and provided a direct line to the manufacturer, which equals steeper discounts for our members. We also provide a state-specific user experience, which means that a user in Nevada will see exclusive products by manufacturers nearby." Marketing partners include Google Offers and Living Social, but forget the corporate mumbo-jumbo and just have a look. [CurbedWire Inbox]

THE INTERNET—Do check out One Kings Lane's souped-up gift guide, which, in addition to editor's picks, includes a collaboration of tabletop products and home accessories with Million Dollar Decorators Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Mary McDonald, plus gift-wrapping guides, room-decorating guides, and sound tablescape advice from someone other than Sandra Lee.
