Here's a recap of the notable results by region.

The Central and Mountain Region saw two of the largest brewers in the field taken down by smaller breweries.

Tallgrass Brewing's 8-Bit Pale Ale label took down New Belgium's Snapshot unfiltered wheat label. Tallgrass captured the most votes in the region with 1,603, and will now face off with Founders Brewing in Round Two, which tallied the second-largest vote total in the region.

Boulevard, the runner-up in the original Most Loved Label contest, lost to Wasatch Brewery's Black O'Lantern entry. Boulevard trailed early and started to close the gap in the second day of voting, but it wasn't enough to hold off the brewer from Utah.

Wasatch will face a strong competitor in Round Two in Founders Brewing Dark Penance label, which received more than 1,500 votes in defeating Boulder Beer's Dragonhosen label.

Beachwood Brewing's Tovarish defeated Rogue Ales' Sriracha-inspired label. The largest brewer in the bracket, Deschutes Brewery's Fresh Squeezed IPA easily defeated Bear Republic's Grand-Am label. The Bruery's cheeky Blue BBLS entry failed to gain traction, falling to Dr. Jekyll's.

The Pacific Region will see a battle of two brewing heavyweights in Round Two as Sierra Nevada's artsy Ruthless Rye label goes up against the comic book illustration of Stone Brewing Co.'s w00tstout 2.0. Ninkasi Brewing and 21st Amendment will square off in what could be a tight contest after both of their submissions captured more than 1,000 votes each in Round One.

The East Region saw the bubble burst for last year's winner, Troegs Brewery. The reigning champ was pushed out by Otter Creek Brewing's Citra Mantra label. Otter Creek will now face off against its sister brewery, Long Trail Brewing, both of which are owned by private equity firm Fulham & Co.

Victory Brewing's DirtWolf label gathered the most votes in this region with 1,367. They'll face off in Round Two against Shmaltz Brewing's Funky Jewbelation, which knocked off the largest brewer in the contest, Samuel Adams (SAM), and its Merry Maker label.

The South Region featured many of the closest contests in Round One. Foothills Brewing's Sexual Chocolate received the most votes in the region with 1,081. It narrowly edged out Karbach Brewing for that title with Karbach's Yule Shoot Your Eye Out label tallying 1,080 votes. Those breweries would meet each other in a Sweet 16 match-up should they prevail in Round Two.

Foothills Brewing will meet Parkway Brewing and its Majestic Mullet label after Majestic prevailed in a tight contest against White Rabbit Brewing's Jabberwocky by a tally of 816-795.
