Chris Hemsworth's home
It’s no big deal that “Thor” star Chris Hemsworth bought a home from “Crocodile Dundee” star Paul Hogan; celebrities buy homes from each other all the time. What’s interesting is that both Hemsworth and Hogan are from Australia.
Hogan bought the home just last year with actress Linda Kozlowski for $3.8 million. The two remodeled the home before they stuck it back on the market with a higher price tag of $5.25 million. Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, must have negotiated for an Aussie discount; they paid $4.8 million for the property, according to the L.A. Times.
Built in 1992, the Malibu home sits on an acre with ocean views and a detached 1-bedroom guesthouse.
The “impeccably” updated Victorian-style house has light-filled spaces and “designer” touches such as top-of-the-line appliances in the kitchen, a master suite with 2 walk-in closets and a private lanai. The additional 3 bedrooms are all en-suite.
