Brad Paisley's former home
Award-winning country music star Brad Paisley and his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, have sold their Pacific Palisades home for $2.5 million, reports the L.A. Times.
Zillow data shows that the 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home was first listed in February for $2.995 million. By April, the price was reduced to $2.795 million.
Property records show that the elegant home was bought under a trust in 2004 for $1.644 million, marking an almost $1 million profit with the apparent recent sale.
Built in 1925, this gorgeous 3,394-square-foot restored vintage home is warm and welcoming. The living room boasts colorful furnishings against white walls and espresso beams, accented by gold carpeted stairs and warm wood floors.
The kitchen is reminiscent of a country cottage, with lemon-colored walls, sandy stone floors, white cabinets and a complementary breakfast nook.
The home is traditional, but pops of color and unique furniture make it stand out. In addition, balconies offer views of the ocean, and the stone patio is decorated by a vine-covered pergola.
Paisley and his wife are one of country’s hottest couples. Besides having 18 singles hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, he was the winner of the 2008 Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Male Vocalist of the Year awards. She is an actress known for her roles in “Father of the Bride” and TV’s “According to Jim” and “Nashville.”
The couple resided at the home with their two sons, William and Jasper. People also reports that Paisley owns a 6,500-square-foot log cabin-style home in Franklin, TN that “features a handmade whiskey-barrel sink.”
The listing was held by Daniel Lam of Sotheby’s International Realty.
