Zach Roerig's home
There’s nothing like a 4-bedroom to signal you’re ready to settle down and raise a family. Actor Zach Roerig is trying to convince a Georgia court just that.
According to property records, “The Vampire Diaries” star has purchased a colonial home in Atlanta for $455,000. Meanwhile, reports have surfaced that Roerig is battling for custody of his 2-year-old daughter. The toddler’s mother and Roerig’s ex-girlfriend, Alanna Turner, is reportedly in federal prison for various crimes.
If Roerig is granted full custody, his daughter will have her own room (or two) in Atlanta’s Poncey-Highland neighborhood. The 2002 construction boasts oak hardwoods, cherry cabinets and a third-floor bonus room — suitable for a playroom.
Roering may find the home needs a few cosmetic updates to be on par with other young celebrities’ homes, but he shouldn’t have a problem investing in the property. At age 28, the Ohio native’s acting career is off to a good start, playing Casey Hughes on “As the World Turns,” Hunter Atwood on “One Life to Live” and now Matt Donovan on “The Vampire Diaries.”
Roerig was dating co-star Candice Accola, but the couple split last May.
