2 couples, 1 guy try out life in a tiny house (112 square feet)

Could you live in 112 square feet? How about with a spouse?

How about for just a couple of hours?

BuzzFeed put two couples and a single guy to the test, borrowing the California tiny house of B.A. Norrgard. She's the purveryor of the website A Bed Over My Head, a former paralegal whose tiny-house lifestyle was inspired by asking herself, "What made me happy as a child, and why did I stop doing those things?"

The roof is not closing in. The roof is not closing in. The roof is not closing in.

Even for a couple of hours, the trial wasn't easy. The single guy, Garrett, is 6-foot-7. One of the women is claustrophobic, and wasn't thrilled with having the roof so close to her face in the queen-size sleeping loft. She posted photos of the experiment to Instagram and wondered if she should hashtag them #divorcein2hours.

The most basic acts -- making tea or quesadillas, or, uh, fitting through a doorway -- become trials. Garrett abstains from drinking because "I don't want to have to go to the bathroom again while I'm in this house." (The facilities feature a dry composting toilet, vaguely reminiscent of a cat's litter box.)
