President Obama answers your questions about housing

Ever wish you had the ear of the president? You do now.

Yesterday in Phoenix, President Obama laid out "his plan to continue helping responsible homeowners and those who seek to own their own homes as the next cornerstone of a strong middle class in America," the White House says.

Now, at 10 a.m. Pacific/1 p.m. Eastern today (Wednesday, Aug. 7), the president is answering questions from the public. The questions -- submitted by the public via the #AskObamaHousing hashtag on social media -- have been curated by longtime Yahoo! Homes partner Zillow, whose CEO, Spencer Rascoff, is the discussion moderator.

Yahoo!, the exclusive media partner for the event, is live-streaming President Obama's answers. Click here to go to Yahoo! News' coverage of the event.
