Erlene knew her stuff. She promoted her properties well. She had no viable solutions to my (personal) situation, however, that is not her issue!! I already own my home & would like to trade off for country type property. She did give me some options...just alot of work!! haha She was good!! & Immediate response! Very nice & courteous!! I have not heard from her since that call.

Will Forbes is so patient and kind after having him as a agent we would recommend to everyone this great real estate agent. We have bought 6 different properties and never had one agent that can compare to him.

Helped me buy home
My listing agent, Georgia Bearup (United Country/Mimbres Realty), was recently out to tour the Berrenda Creek and Lake Valley ranch community. I met Georgia five years ago, and I am really enjoying working with her now to sell my home. She runs a successful business in Silver City, is a fourth-generation New Mexican, and has a deep appreciation of the Black Range/Mimbres Valley area.

When Guy Willard contacted me - he accused me of being a realtor and refused to give me an address of the property I was inquiring about. I felt this was rude and unprofessional. I went to another agent.

Helped me find a home to rent
I went through United Country to find a rental property when we first moved here. They were great once they saw our credit score. No ine else in the area would work with us so I really appreciated it. We had to work with another agent for purchase because my husband is a Veteran, otherwise I would have worked with them.

Listed home, but didn't sell
Much of our bad experience may have been attributable to a poorly trained and inexperienced agent who made multiple errors in the listing she posted online (beginning with the location of the house!) and then moved in with a boyfriend and was never in an office where agents have the local reputation of showing no interest in showing properties that aren't theirs. She also seemed startled - and had nothing to offer - when we asked what our options were when she forwarded the information that a home inspector had found carpenter bee damage it would cost $350 to repair (repairs by the home inspector? or did the buyers' agent get a bid on the repairs? we have no idea - and are not entirely sure what damage this was, given we had already dealt with the problem and made repairs, we thought). Also problems with marketing (no advertising, house shown once in 5 months). We got nowhere trying to talk to the broker about this, though a senior agent in the United Country office was helpful in correcting some of the problems with the listing. But the reason I'm posting this review is to warn others that if they offer you the "only 5% commission" for signing a one-year contract, be aware that they are not reducing THEIR commission, no matter what the agent tells you - at least not in our local United Country office. The listing agent still gets 3% and has cut the commission for the buyer's agent from the normal 3% to 2%. No wonder other agents don't want to show United Country homes. Less ... More

called about several properties listed with United Country and STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE SINGLE PHONE CALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if my husband and I see a property that we like and it is listed with United Country, we will continue our search elsewhere and deal with any other agency than this one. They apparently do not care to sell or list with people because they have no interest in talking to anyone. I HAVE WORKED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE, INSURANCE SALES AND INSURANCE UNDERWRITING FOR OVER 16 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED A LACK OF SERVICE (OR LACK OF CARE FOR THAT MATTER) TO THAT HORRIBLE EXTENT. BUYERS AND SELLERS BEWARE!!!! Less ... More

Never responded to my inquiry
No one contacted us and we were never able to schedule an appointment to see the Oklahoma property registered with United Country. We contacted another real estate company, but they said no other Realtors were able to show a property that United Country had listed. I'm not surprised that the house has never sold.

Never responded to my inquiry
Took a month to get a response. I sent request and waited a couple weeks. No reply. Contacted another agent on the list. Nothing. Contacted General office. 2 months later, after I have found something else I start getting replies. Still not on the property I ask about. Just general how can I help you replies or now on their mailing list for whatever goes out. They must not have anyone who actually checks email request from Zillow.com If you want information about a listing you better just call. Less ... More

Worked with Boogie Bedgood and she asked Edgar Gaddis to follow up with us because we were leaving the area soon. Both responded very well to our needs and inquiries about the property.

Showed me homes
I made an appointment with Bruce Witt in Camden, Missouri, for a Friday afternoon, explaining that I could not take off work in the middle of the week. I showed up 10 minutes early for the appointment on Friday afternoon to find that the agent had made other appointments and forgotten mine. He justified his oversight by telling me he thought our appointment was for Thursday, and he thought I'd just forgotten to show up. I did get him to show the property to us several weeks later, and I requested that he get some information for me from the seller about the house, so I could determine a fair offer. It's been two months, and after several emails and attempts to contact the agent at United Country, I have still heard nothing back. I can only assume he isn't interested in selling this property or has other intentions. I would not recommend using United Country to a seller or potential buyer. Less ... More

Helped me buy home
Great to work with, honest and professional. We actually bought our new home through them with very little frustration. Very friendly and nice people. Only thing I didn't enjoy was having to meet the real estate agent in another town to give her paperwork. But enjoyed the real estate agent we worked with. Considering using United Country to sell our other house.

Dale Williams took the time to show us numerous land with houses and he was very knowledgable about the area. Unfortunately none met what we are looking for but he stated that he would continue searching for us. Dale was very easy to talk to and provided good information about each property we visited.

I would recommend AGAINST using United Country. First we were only shown houses that were their listings, even though several from other agencies met our criteria. When we did make an offer on a home where the broker was the listing agent we did not get ANY feedback. The sellers were not informed of our thoughts either so communication between buyer and seller was nonexistent!!! We had lots of phone calls and emails, which basically said nothing. It is no surprise that the deal fell through when we realized United Country was only representing themselves. We have a new agent with a different company and the difference is night (being kept in the dark) and day (open communication). Do not waste your time with these people. You will get nothing but the runaround. Less ... More

Showed me homes
When I first started looking in this area, I was living over 800 miles away (was looking via internet prior to that and had found a 5 bed house that drew me to the area and some other properties), and made arrangements with this realtor over the internet to drive up here and she could show me some places that she had for sale that I was very interested in. Because of the drive, I had arranged to be here the night before so that she could show me said properties at 9 the next morning. The next morning I was driving to the realtor's office and made a courtesy call well in advance to let her know that I was almost there, and the person that answered the phone said that they were out showing properties to someone else and would not be back in the office until after noon. Being that I wasn't from the area and not familiar with the place, I was at a loss. My daughter saw another realtor's sign and we called that person, he saw me immediately and showed me a ten acre parcel which I ended up buying. When about 1:30 rolled around, the first realtor was back at her office, she acted like she just had no time to show me anything, even though this had been arranged days prior. We followed her in our vehicle. She drove like a bat out of you-know-where, like she was trying to lose us. She went to a gas station first to fuel up her vehicle, this took forever, not very professional at all. Showed me the properties that I was interested in and might have bought save for the fact that her time with us was "rushed", like she really didn't want to bother. I didn't drive over 800 miles to be treated like that. Did not buy anything that she showed because of the poor treatment. Ended up buying another property from the other realtor. This same realtor is representing a house that's still on the market --that I am actually still interested in- but I will not deal with her. At all. Her service left a bad taste in my mouth. Less ... Listed home, but didn't sell
I would NOT recommend United Country to anyone. They do not return phone calls, they do not check in on vacant property they have listed, they do not share information from potential buyers gained during showings and you will have to request to have them provide an open house. YOU will be selling your property because they do not initiate or follow through with anything. United also requires a 30 day termination period if you want to end your contract with them - potential buyers and sellers - BEWARE and stay away from United Country if you want to buy/sell your home! Our experience with United Country in Camden South Carolina was excellent. The agent went out of his way to help us look at properties in the two days that we were able. Being out of town buyers is difficult and United County continues to be there for us throughout the process.

I was shown a home by an agent of United Country. It was a very positive experience: she was prompt, friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. In fact, everyone I have spoken with at United Country has been extremely pleasant and helpful. Even though the home I was shown did not work out (not United Country's fault in the least) I definitely plan on going through them in the future.

we made an appointment to go look at a house and they called us to reschedule so that way she didnt have to drive down twice in two days. she told us 5pm (after only giving us 20 notice that she was canceling the previous day) so we show up and wait on her. never showed. we called her manager and they wouldn't send anyone else to show us the house so we went to a different agency. they apparently do this all the time to people.

Listed and sold a home
If you are going to buy a house in a subdivision any agent will do, but when it comes to farms, unique and special purpose properties I would not go without the help of these guys. If you are looking for a specific type or use of property they will find it! I have used them over and over again and will keep using them. No one compares...

Helped me buy home
I had selected several properties that were listed by United Country. All of the agents responded quickly and worked with my schedule for viewing properties. This worked well since we traveled 500 miles for the viewings. We selected a property listed by United Country - 7 Lakes Realty and worked with Don Roach. He was very helpful and stayed in contact thru the whole process.

Helped me buy and sell homes
There are lots of real estate companies out there, but this company is one of the best. Their agents know their market, and they always make decisions that benefit who they are representing in the deal. This company is very professional in the way they conduct business, and I have always had great experiences when I've used them with my real estate needs. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to buy or sell any type of real estate.
