Capolinea Design envisioned and produced TONDA, a sustainable armchair with a highly modern look. According to the official press release we were sent by the designers, Tonda is made from recycled cellulose tubes that are reused and cut following the customers’ will (have a look at the last two photos of the post to get an idea on the production process). Moreover, all the materials used are Eco-friendly.
The chair is promised to provide a soft and comfortable touch, while offering a solid seating. One of the designs was achieved in collaboration with the Italian NY based artist Alessandro Zuek Simonetti and the following versions of the creative team at Capolinea aims to involve more artists, so we imagine the future versions of the chair they will be diverse and intriguing.
