The 2013 Nissan GT-R is a beast apart from the rest. It is the culmination of decades of performance research, yielding a vehicle that can turn any ham-fisted driver into a track god. It is 3.8-liters of forced induction, yielding 545 horsepower of all-wheel drive, corner hugging, sweat-inducing madness…and eBay is just going to give one away.
eBay Motors has its hands on the 2013 iteration of “Godzilla,” and rather than keep it for itself (something we would have easily done), the site is making it available to be won by one of their members. Someone in the eBay Motors community is just going to get one for free- and we love it.
Plenty of GT-R’s will end up in the hands of those with the means to acquire such a vehicle but perhaps not the passion to fully appreciate such a well-crafted piece of automotive technology. Now, an Average Joe with a penchant for world-class performance cars will get the chance to win a vehicle that has put the supercar world on notice. Remember, this is the 2014 GT-R, complete with 545 horsepower- up 15 hp from 530. That twin-turbocharged V6 is also sending 448 pound feet of torque through a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission to ATTESA E-TS, its advanced all-wheel drive system. We’re not going to bother going through what all the letters mean- just know that the GT-R will do zero-to-sixty in just 2.7 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 193 miles per hour.
All you have to do is use the eBay Motors app to sign up for a profile on the eBay Garage. If you already have a profile on eBay Garage, all you have to do is upload a photo of your car to get a chance at the GT-R. We think they are crazy, and if we were running things, we would keep the car and let eBay employees fight to the death every Friday afternoon for a chance to take it home every weekend. Sadly, we don’t get to make such decisions, but you do get a chance to win this car. Get going on it though- this giveaway ends July 4!
