David Hasselhoff's home
David Hasselhoff has listed his longtime home for sale, and no, it’s not a beachside Malibu home. Rather, Hasselhoff’s place is in the hills of Encino, about 30 miles from Malibu.
The muscled and former red shorts-wearing “Baywatch” and “Knight Rider” actor and singer bought the home in 1996 for $1.98 million, according to property records. The home is currently listed for $3.795 million.
Situated behind a long, canopied and gated driveway, Hasselhoff’s home is located at 5180 Louise Ave, Encino, CA 91316. The colonial-style estate sits on a nearly 1.5-acre lot with pool, spa and two 1-bed, 1-bath guesthouses.
Inside, the 1988-built home has an 8,947-square-foot floor plan with vaulted ceilings, formal living spaces and 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. A “pub” in the home serves as a Hasselhoff homage of sorts; the walls are covered with awards, photos and “Baywatch” memorabilia.
Other amenities include a gourmet kitchen, gym and tennis court.
The listing is held by Los Angeles real estate agent Gina Martino of The Agency.
According to Zillow’s mortgage calculator, a monthly payment on Hasselhoff’s home would be $13,203, assuming a 20 percent down payment on a 30-year mortgage.
