Renee Zellweger is selling a second East Coast farmhouse

Renee Zellweger is embracing a new lifestyle — one that doesn’t include a farmhouse back East. After listing her historic Connecticut property this summer, the actress has put this East Hampton home on the market for $4.45 million.

Compared with the 1770 Colonial in Pomfret Center, Connecticut, this retreat is relatively new: It dates back to 1900.

A few blocks from the ocean, a gated driveway leads to this classic Hamptons-style retreat with 3 bedrooms, a den, a two-car garage and a loft.

While newly renovated, the interior is understated with light coastal furnishings. The yard, spanning nearly an acre, is secluded with high hedges and mature trees.

Property records show that Zellweger purchased the home in 2003, the year she played her Academy Award-winning role in “Cold Mountain.”

The listing is held by Linda Haugevik of Douglas Elliman.
