Gus helped me purchase an investment property here in Eugene, along with my parents. I was immediately impressed by his comprehensive knowledge of the local market, and have developed a great deal of respect for him both as a broker and as a friend. Gus is very technologically adept and works well remotely, which was important to me as I was purchasing a home with my parents, who live out of town. He was always quick to respond, and always stayed in contact to make sure we were on the same page. The most important factor that would lead me to work with Gus again in the future is his willingness to be brutally honest. If a property is a great value, you will hear about it. If a house you love is a money pit, you will hear that as well. It was very important to me to find a home that had good investment potential, but that I could also enjoy living in for the next few years. Gus is very easy-going but knows the area market. He is a great negotiator. I trust him completely. He is very helpful, always right on time. Thoroughly checks out a place before showing it to us. Gives a thoughtful, honest opinion. I really appreciate all his honesty and helpfulness. We've been working with Gus for about a year now. We're very specific in what we want. I know we've been a challenge and I very much appreciate his patience. I would highly recommend him.

I could not answer the questions about negotiation skills as Gus and I didn't get to that stage. I was ambivalent about buying anything and opted to buy a motor home and travel. I find Gus very personable, very honest and with a high degree of integrity. When I decide to settle down I will call Gus and ask for his help in finding a home.
