Melody is, hands down, impressive and professional. Melody knows this market, knows the system, and knows how to get you into the home you want! Prior to working with Melody, I had worked with three other agents - all of which told me what my husband and I couldn't get and continued to show us homes that were so far off of what we told them we were looking for. We met Melody after gaining her contact information through a friend, and she assured us of what we could have/get. I first met Melody through a recommendation by my insurance company. As a first time home-buyer, I was very unsure about the details of the process. She was both patient and thorough about explaining my options, as well as a calming presence in what might otherwise have been an anxious time. My stepfather and I had a pretty short window of time in which to find a home and start the closing process, so during the search it was crucial that Melody be responsive and flexible with her time. She excels in both areas. Hoping to facilitate a quick search, I had done some research of my own before getting in touch with an agent, and Melody was gracious about talking over my search criteria with me, making clear which of my assumptions were reasonable, and adapting her suggestions to my preferences; I felt in-control of the search, and her local insights allowed us to zero in on appropriate options efficiently. When it came time to make an offer, she carefully talked me through data on sales in the area, highlighted the trends, and recommended a number on the basis of the data and her reading of the market.
