Jim Migliore has been very professional with us throughout our real estate search and really looks out of the interests of his clients. He used current technology (facetime) to save us trips to Beaufort when looking at new real estate options. The day has come... I've closed on my property and Mr. Migliore has done more than could ever be expected to make the transition from out of state. Local knowledge...... He knows a lot of great people to help with repairs or upgrages to the property that you have pourchased. Although I closed in late October, and was not able to move for two months, he has eagerly coordinated home up grades for me and went so far as to front the money in order to expedite the services so that they would be complete before I arrived. He arranged a fence installation, a painter that has redone the second floor aand back porch, a hot tub installion, a outside porch repair guy, a lawn maintenancew company and maintained contact to ensure that I feel good about my move. He even has gone to the house on numerous occasions to make sure that the upgrages have been done to his specs before I send him a final payment. Process expertise.... having never lived in North Carolina, I was impressed with his knowledge of the real estate laws. They are different from where I live and I would have been at a complete loss without his input. Responsiveness.....If you text him, email him or call him with any question, he will respond within 12 hours or less. He is positive, and cares greatly about his community and family. I've never heard him say anything unfavorable about a thing. I live in Texas and am re-locating to Norh Carolina when I am able to retire. Mr. Migliore made the transition painless. First, he listened to my what, needs, and desires, then he created a list of homes that met my criteria. After review on line and on site visits by Jim prior to my arrival, I was able to limit my on site search to five homes.He even sent me a welcome package so I could plan somke fun into my limited time that I had in Beaufort. When we decided to list our home , we interviewed local Realtors. It became clear that Jim was the one we would go with because right from the start he told us that he didn't come to list our home, he came to sell it. The other presentations were rather run of the mill, a few comparables and a mediocre attitude regarding pricing. We felt that the others were only going to rely on the MLS listing to market our home. We felt they had a "wait and see" attitude, content to make some money off the listing if that be the case. We felt our home would become just another home, nothing special, just have their sign on our lawn. We went with Jim because he was completely different He did comprehensive research and had a definite plan on how he was going to market our home. He presented the pricing based on evidence from our community. He hired a professional photographer to take the pictures and create the virtual tour. He is very aware of the market and his building background offers him a perspective that other Realtors lack.
