Jimmy was a huge help and a wonderful person in helping me with finding my first home! He was very efficient and was always there with answers and support. For example he was there on the day of closing to make sure everything was in order and I did not have any issues or questions. My wife and I are fairly new to the area, as we have only been in the area for approximately 11 months. We had a general idea of what we were looking for in a property but unsure where to start. With a baby coming in July and the time running out on our lease we turned to Mr. Jimmy Dove. We gave him a list of items we were looking for in a property, items we considered would hopefully make our first home an enjoyable experience. Jimmy took the list and began searching listings within minutes emailing us listings, exchanging phone calls, and discussing all the possibilities. A few paths lead to dead ends, but as they say when one door closes another opens. Within the first weekend Jimmy had lined up viewings of houses we chose from various listings. Our first view was a house that looked great in the pictures, but as we all know pictures can be deceiving. When we walked into the door Jimmy wasn't afraid to say what he thought (one of the traits we truely enjoyed about him). He looked beyond what sales price and what we as home owners would have to payout towards repairs/fixes, as a first time home buyer this can be overlooked when being overwhelmed by the entire process. However, as Jimmy says when you walk through the door you will know if you have found your house. After the first strikeout Jimmy told us not to be discouraged, which can be easily done when you have all you hopes up on the first house. Jimmy went back to work looking right after we stepped out the door. He drove around that afternoon looking, writing down addresses and contacting us that afternoon with a number of other possibilites. That night a house was posted for sale and Jimmy quickly set up a viewing the very next day. Low and behold Jimmy was correct in his earlier statement because when we walked in we knew that this was the home we wanted. After viewing the house Jimmy took us out to lunch to discuss the house and the next steps. Jimmy put our offer on the table the very next day. After some negotiation, which Jimmy always kept out best interest #1, we came to a deal. In the weeks to follow Jimmy lead us through the entire process. He contacted various individuals to set up inspections, a title agency, etc... who he knew would give us the best price and best service. The week of the closing the bank decided to drag its feet, possibily delaying the closing. Jimmy quickly got on the phone and went to bat for us again working his magic. We closed on time. In the end Jimmy wasn't just another agent who might have treated me as just another client. He genuinely carred for us and wanted the best. After the entire process I now look at him not as a agent but as a friend. I'm sure to use his service again if the time ever calls to move because I know he will do the best for my family and I.
