I do not know where to start. I guess I have to start with the basics. I bought my house in 2006 lived in it till 2010 and rented it out till mid-2012. My house was in terrible shape after my tenants left. Living in New Jersey, it was going to be hard for me to clean it up and rent/sell it. I called a friend who had bought a house from Cory and got his number. Calling Cory was THE BEST IDEA I HAVE EVER HAD! Not only was he friendly and professional, but he took all the weight off my shoulders. Step 1 was fixing up the house, which he had "his guys" do at a cost I never could have accomplished by myself. Step 2 was deciding to rent or sell. We ended up selling because I needed the cash. He assured me we would get it sold fast and at a good price. I did not believe him because I knew the market. Well, less than 3 months later we closed and got 30k more than I thought I could ever get for it! A note: I rented my house out by myself and after knowing what Cory could have done for me all those years, I felt sick. If Cory had managed my property I would have made 300 more a month (with no headaches). That?s only about 10k I lost by doing it myself (minus his monthly management cut which I think would of been 10-12% of rent a month). If you read this far, I don?t think I need to go on.
