Josh was very professional and responsive. I admit that I could be demanding at times, but he always came through - he got us an offer after 21 days on the market. We had previously listed our home for sale with two other agents and had also tried For Sale By Owner. There was never much traffic to the home and the end result was years on the market with no prospects, let alone a sale. We removed our home from the market for a few years and did some remodeling, then decided that it was the right time to once again attempt to sell. After talking with family and friends, we were referred to seven different agents. Yes, seven; and we interviewed every single one of them. In the end, we decided that Josh May was the best fit for us. The first week was quiet, but the word that the house is for sale needs to have time to spread. By week two we had showings; at least one per week, sometimes two and occasionally more. We listed in early September 2011 and had an offer by the end of October. Unfortunately, the offer fell through, but showings continued even around Thanksgiving and a week or two before Christmas. We were impressed by how quickly we had showings and by how many people were coming to see our home. We got feedback after almost every showing, usually within 3 days depending on the selling agents response time. Josh gave us advice and guidance but didn't pressure us into any decisions and let us be in full control of how we handled everything from setting the sale price to accepting or countering the offers to whether or not we had open houses. Our house sold in February, 5 months after listing. All things considered - the fact that we listed in the fall, stayed listed through the winter AND the holiday season (when people don't want to move or be out looking for a house), we sold it in October (only a month and a half after listing) but had the deal fall through, we had it listed for 3 years previously with hardly any traffic, and the market still isn't great - we were THRILLED with the 5 month turn around on our house.
