I've had good experience with Victor Clifton. I'd bought 2 houses with him in the last 3 months, one in Oak Park and one in Ferndale, and he has shown a lot of knowledge of the area, worked with me the way I liked to work, and was very available, even on Saturdays, when it was necessary. He's been flexible in his dealings with me, and closings with him are always smooth. Very recommended if you want to buy in this area.

Victor knows the area, but is not my choice for an agent to work with, as initiative (suggesting homes to look at based on my interests) and ability to follow up -- such as completing documents on time for signatures, making sure he gets an answer from the other agent, etc -- are lacking. Be prepared to call him (and his wife both, since they work as a team but often need separate reminders) often to get them to move on something.
