This past winter I embarked on a journey to find my first home. I was new to the process, never buying a house before and didn't know a lot of the ins and outs. I was very skeptical and had my guard up because looking for a house is a HUGE deal, especially doing it alone. I had some past experience with home construction and going with friends when they looked at and eventually purchased their homes, so I had a good sense of what to watch out for and make sure I wasn't being taken advantage of in any way. When I met up with Gregory Weidenbaum from Redstone Run Realty, I quickly realized that he was very knowledgeable of the areas I was looking at and very responsive with getting information and finding out the facts about places I wanted to look at. During my time with Greg I looked at a lot of houses because I'm very picky and knew exactly what I was looking for. Each time Greg would take the pros and cons from each place and narrow the field down to a better match each time. I threw a lot of criteria at Greg and there was a laundry list of things I wasn't willing to sacrifice, and there were times it seemed like I may not be able to get everything I was looking for especially at the budget I was working with... I knew I was asking for my cake and wanting to eat it too, but in the end It worked out great. When we found the house I currently live in now it was exactly what I was looking for! Overall, the process was very easy and painless. I had A LOT of questions when it came time to negotiating and closing and Greg answered all of them and even walked me through the process so that I knew exactly what I was doing.
