Maggie was terrific in helping us buy a house in NWI when we moved there in 2008. 20 house viewings in two days? No problem. Then, she helped us out 9 months later when we had to sell unexpectedly. She helped us get a fair deal done in the midst of the housing crisis. The bottom line is that she "gets it". In St. John where our house was located she knows who is looking for a house, what they are looking for, and most importantly how to show your house so that it meets the criteria of the buyers. She has a concierge program where an agent from her firm is present at all showings! In a weak market most agents will simply pressure you to slash your asking price to sell your house. That's what the other real estate agents we talked to did including the other supposed "high end" agent we interviewed. We were selling a high end home with many valuable custom features in a market that was very difficult for our type of property. Every other broker we talked to advised us to slash the price by up to 15% if we wanted to sell. Maggie brought two solid offers near our asking price. The house sold quickly and smoothly with everyone satisfied, except the people whose bid was unsuccessful. As a seller, the agent you list with is supposed to be representing your interests.
