I would like to start by saying I couldn?t thank Ms. Crabb enough for her assistance in helping us find the perfect home for our family. When we began our journey to find a new, and first, home we didn?t have any other place to start then on the internet where we found Zillow. We began looking through the screen at what seemed like an endless amount of dots staring back at us. We contacted a Realtor about a property near where we both worked, but found disappointment as the agent was unable to gain entry to the property. This was when the Mortgage banker informed us that she had an agent that would come very highly recommended. Of course we had only started to look and weren?t even sure what we needed outside of HGTV. We declined the offer for assistance, but she insisted on the grounds that we wouldn?t be able to do it alone. We agreed to allow her to forward our contact information, after what would have been our biggest mistake. When Ms. Crabb initially contacted me we agreed to allow her to show the home we had previously only seen the outside of. Walking through the house we felt fairly lackluster, but did like the area. She felt this and was incredibly eager to show us other homes in the area, and promised we could find time in order to do this. This didn?t appeal to me as the entire process seemed overwhelming. In either case we setup an appointment for the only day we had available, Sunday. We find her waiting for us, holding coffee, as we arrive. We spent the next few hours viewing homes in the area as she made sure notes as to what we needed in a home. Eventually we found a place that seem to meet all of our needs. My wife made it clear that the marble counters sealed the deal for her. Ms. Crabb made sure that we looked at the entire home as she pointed out areas to investigate. As we made our exit we clearly leaned on her for insight into the process. She gave it to us straight and made it clear the money we would lose if we backed out. Of course we didn?t have an inspector, but she had one she preferred to use reassuring us he is thorough and has good credentials. We set up the inspection and met that morning in excitement, the inspector and Ms. Crabb were already there. We spent the next few hours as the inspector goes on the roof, under the sink, and in the dirt. When he enters he has all the pictures from his inspection, which wasn?t favorable, we need to make a decision about the house. Me and my wife begin discussing it all, and Ms. Crabb says they need to pay for the additional inspections and the roof or it?s not worth it and begins to call the listing agent with that option. When they decline to accept the terms she looks at us and says I wouldn?t buy this house, you will lose money if you do. The most telling point was as we walked away the inspector called her the Bulldog and had a story to back it up. We are now in a very nice home thanks to Ms. Crabb. If I were in the market for a home again I would absolutely call Ms. Crabb again. Regardless of the price point she will make sure you get your home, not just that house, and she will stick to your price point so you are comfortable with your decision. She will help you through the process so the time you need to invest is minimized if you have a busy schedule. She always responded quickly when we had a question, which eased our minds when we needed it most. Less
