This is a comprehensive review for Valerie Thomas as a first time out-of-state homeowner. We are a family from NY that have been looking for property in the Orlando region with a good location to the attractions, Lake Nona, and the airport but was uncertain of the neighborhoods. We tried dealing with other agents but they were often slow to respond, offered minimal advice, or it felt like they did not want to speak with us unless they were certain of where we specifically wanted to look. Valerie however responded immediately and went through the process piece by piece. We have worked with Valerie since late summer 2011 until we finished closing on a house just recently. Being far away, we were unable to go down there and check the homes physically but Valerie made our job seemingly effortless(we do owe her dinner for all her work) because for the houses we were interested in she would personally go to all the places for us regardless of what day it was and take pictures/videos, and even uploaded YouTube videos for the home on her channel! I don't think there are many agents that would be willing to do all of that for you when they haven't even met you in person once. Besides looking for a home, Valerie was very helpful throughout the whole entire process. She helped explain the Orlando home market, foreclosure/short sale process, different community and neighborhoods from her experience, everyone we needed to take caution/worry about buying a home and just explained everything we needed based off our situation and needs.
