Had a very bad experience when this agent represented me on the sale of my old house and the purchase of a new home. He will make you hurry to sign documents he should have already gotten signed (agent representation agreements, etc) when you list or buy, won't show up for walk-thru as he promised, and refuse to honor your request as to form of communication. His responses to requests for closing information on both houses were not timely. I would not recommend using this agent. I even gave him the opportunity to make things right for us by helping us with needless costs associated with closing delays on our old house (which I requested the information on but he did not get) and he refused. The buyer stated their agent kept them well informed of the delays. Considering the $15,000+ paind in commisions, $525 was too much to ask of him. Less

My wife and I met Darlene on the recommendation of a friend in Atlanta when we moved to Hendersonville. We were huge fans from the start. Darlene understood the nuts and bolts of Real Estate as well as anyone could, but she did so much more as she understood what we were looking for wasn't the typical house in a neighborhood. She didn't quit till we found our house in the hollow. We lived there almost 14 years...longer than either of us had ever lived anywhere our entire lives. When it was time to move, we called Darlene or course...now Mike and Darlene. They developed a sales plan for our home in the hollow that resulted in the perfect match between our 'unique property' and a delightful young couple ready for the challenges. A lot of realtors didn't 'get it' when they came up and some potential buyers missed the charm. Mike and Darlene got it from the get go. We worked with Mike & Darlene then moved to Atlanta and were "forced" to hire a different agent. It was so bad we called Mike & asked him to help find us a team Like his. He tried his best, but NO ONE takes care of their clients like Mike and Darlene, and their team. We are very glad to be living back in the Nashville area, and have had two great experiences with Mike and Darlene since moving back. We cannot recommend the Hastings group strongly enough.

This was my 2nd experience selling a house and these guys restored my faith in the process. The first time was probably the 2nd worst experience of my life. The Hastings team showed me how good it can be. They sold my house before it ever hit the market and helped make it a smooth ride. I can't recommend them enough. Many years before we knew Darlene and Mike I knew we wanted the Hastings team to sell our home. When we listed we called Mike Hastings who listed our home and sold it within about 8 months. He did everything he said plus. He did everything we ask him to do since we traveled lots he didn't have to do. We highly reccomend the Hastings team for selling or buying your home.
