My family and I were living in Sierra Vista, Arizona when my wife, who is an Active Duty Soldier in the Army, came down on assignment for the Rock Island Arsenal. So after talking it over, we decided that we wanted to buy a home this time instead of renting a home like we were doing at that time. I went online one evening on the internet and since we had worked with Remax Realtors in the past, I conducted a search for agents in the Rock Island/Quad Cities area. Lo and behold, Mr. Todd Peterson's name was the first one to pop up, so I sent him an email letting him know that we would soon be moving to the Quad Cities area and were looking to buy a home. Todd sent us a few of the listings that were in the area within a few short days, and my wife and I began looking through them. After searching through the listings that he had sent to us, we decided that we (my wife and I) were going to fly out to meet with Todd and take a few days to make some visits to the homes that we expressed interest in to him. So we flew out to the QC area, and met with Todd and began our search. After about two houses in of viewing, he began to get a good feel for what we were looking for, and we noticed just how personable he is and how much effort he puts in to helping his clients. We looked at several homes over a 3 day period with two of them ending up as good prospects; but both were missing a few small details that my wife really wanted. To be sure that it was really the one, my wife wanted to get a better warm and fuzzy on it, and since flying back out to Illinois was out of the question, we asked Todd if he would go to the house, take a good look at it, and take pictures of it. I did most of my shopping for a house online. However, when I found a house I was interested in and requested a viewing Todd was quick to respond. He set up a viewing the following day. At the time, I was about to start my busy season and once I had seen the house knew I wanted to make it happen quickly. Todd was excellent. I have tried to sell my home twice to eventually take off the market. This time I went with Todd and my home sold in 60 days. Living out of town can make some logistics a little more work. Todd was wonderful and went the extra mile to contact people and get things done that I needed to do during the inspection time.
