Really good. She helped me buy a bank-owned house, which is not easy as banks are famously difficult to work with. She worked very hard, always mindful of my wants in a new home - showing me house after house, weekend after weekend until we found exactly what I was looking for. She responds to emails and texts quickly. With her help I got a great house at a good price. Can't ask for much more than that.
Marilyn was an excellent home hunter for me. I had a specific wish list and she helped locate and tour many places until we found the perfect one within the list. She was flexible in working around my schedule and used newer technology ie e-mail and texting to stay connected
I reached outto Marilyn to look at a lake property in Carlyle IL. I visited the property twice once by myself and once with Marilyn. We liked the property and were going to put a contract on it just to find out that the property was already under contract. In my opinion Realestate 101 says LOOK UP THE PROPERTY BEFORE YOU SHOW IT! Not only did she waste her own time, but we wasted countless hours driving and preparing to purchase this property all because she didn't do her due diligence.
Just so everyone is aware that I do look up the property status and I did talk to the listing agency who told me that it was ok to show. Sometime even the listing agency isn't aware of the status until the listing agent updates the listing site. I just want to be clear that there was not a contract at the time when I showed the property, in fact I always give the client a copy of the listing and it did show to be an active listing. Marilyn was a very helpful person with the whole home buying experience. When ever we had a question that pertained to one of the homes we looked at, she had answers for us immediately. That was great because we were able to make decisions on homes much quicker and were able to look at more home until we finally settled with the one we purchased and extremely happy with.
After 3 months with no luck of trying to sell my house on my own, I called Marilyn. She immediately put signs in the yard, posted it online and scheduled an open house. After 2 months with her, I got a full-price offer and sold it. She worked really hard for me, and I couldn't have been happier. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
Marilyn was great, she kept everything moving forward and we were able to close in a very short period of time. I would call her again to find a home without a doubt.
