Ray listed a property that I was sure was going into foreclosure. After meeting with him, I realized that there may be opportunity in a short sale. To be honest, I didn't believe the likelihood of selling the house in this market. The property had been handled for over five years by a "we buy homes" individual that rented to increasingly less desirable tenants, none of which proved to be credit worthy enough to purchase the house outright. The mortgage stayed in my name, while market prices continued to fall. March of 2011, I finally decided enough was enough and wanted this home out of my name. Facing foreclosure, a co-worker suggested Ray who had handled her property with success. Ray kept in contact, while I moved through the process of evicting the tenant, cleaning up their mess and securing the property for the bank to begin the liquidation process. Ray did a great job in helping us find our new home. We came in from out of state on short notice and Ray took the time necessary to find the perfect place. he guided us though the negotiation process and closing, mostly while 900 miles away. Buying a home for the first time can be extremely overwhelming, but having an agent like Ray made my experience a lot less intimidating. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new home.
