We did a great deal of research in the process of finding Rica Ruiz; what drove us to her was prior reviews stating how personable and efficient she was. My husband and I were first time home buyers and wanted to ensure we could trust our first investment to someone who was business savvy but also had that personal touch to make us feel comfortable and in good hands. In our research work we had reached out to other realtors to see how fast or responsive they were; we received one response two days later from a relator who was referring us to someone else; but it was Rica who replied the next day with a friendly and welcoming voice. Our price point was a challenge considering our location, but regardless Rica took us on as though we were buying a million dollar home ;0) Throughout the process, Rica kept us abreast of properties we could consider, she helped us reach out to possible sellers and responded to our every email and voicemail within the hour or at least the same day. The market for us was not only limited due to our price range but also because we have a large dog. The inventory for condos that accepted large pets was extremely restricted; therefore had our work cut out and the work for Rica to make happen almost the impossible. As we began to bid on properties and go through the frustration of getting outbid by cash buyers, Rica decided to proactively reach out to one of the condominiums we liked and sent letters to over 100+ owners hoping to entice a seller to consider us.
