The best part about Lisa Taylor is that she obviously understands the way the current market is behaving, and how to address this market behavior to get what you want. It isn't always the case that you have a lot of time to think things over, and she understands that when it?s time to act, you have to act quickly. One example is I drove by a house with a for-sale sign, parked out front, called her, and she showed it to me 2 hours later. Ultimately this was the home I purchased (and two weeks later I'm loving it more and more) In addition, all paperwork was completed in an extremely timely manner with attention to detail, and she pressed all sides of the process to get desired results. When the lender was delaying, she pressed them to get the loan out on time, which alleviated a lot of stress on my end. There was not a lot of negotiation, and although I paid more than asking price, she shut down a bidding war and I escaped paying less than what I believe is market value. She got me what I wanted, on time, and under market value. In this current real estate market I believe that is quite a feat. Lisa was also very personable and easy to get along with. She effortlessly tolerated my crass home inspector (who I know can irritate or offend people) and gave me sound advice on what, and what not to expect and do when buying a home. I met Lisa through another friend who had a very positive experience with her when buying property. Among things she specializes in is the negotiation and selling of a property in a short sale situation. I interviewed two other agents from different companies, but believed that due to her responsiveness and previous experience, she would be able to get my house sold even though I was upside down in this property and my mortgage was considerably more than the property was currently worth. Lisa helped me stage the property, worked with Wells Fargo and several buyers till she found the right situation, but their offer was way too low. After days of negotiation with Wells, she persuaded Wells to accept the price that was offered by the buyers. Lisa brought all the paperwork to me and explained in detail each form that I needed to sign, until I completely understood what I was signing. Even though the sale was painful to me, she helped me through each stage of the process up until the last document was signed at the closing table. Further, Lisa helped me find a new residence before the sale was completed, through another contact she had. She went with me to look at the rental properties I was considering, even though she had no stake in my rental agreement. It took a real expert to get Well Fargo to agree to the price that was negotiated.
