My wife and I decided to do a Short Sale of our house and read all the wonderful reviews on Beverly and thought she would be the perfect fit for us. Unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. We have so many grievances, but here are the highlights: 1. She initially listed the stats of our house incorrectly. I had to call her a few times to correct the listing. When you're trying to sell your house, it's important that the amount of bedrooms, bathrooms and garages are listed correctly. 2. She did not respond timely to the bank negotiator?s requests. Our bank negotiator would call us complaining that Beverly would not return his calls and there things he needed her to action. 3. Even more importantly she did not return our calls timely. We need a new place to live upon selling our house and my wife would make appointments with her to look at apartments. On several occasions Beverly would be M.I.A.(missing in action), or she would show up late ? she was just very disinterested. On some instances she would even enlist her husband - a realtor in training to show my wife apartments. We did not hire her husband, we hired Beverly Lyons and she totally disrespected us. We eventually found our own apartment. When you are going through a stressful ordeal like a Short Sale, you need a Realtor that?s going to fight for you, not some unengaged agent that treats you like an after thought. Thank God our house showed very well and the family that put in the offer were patient and very motivated to purchase our house. The only 2 things that we thank Beverly for is: posting the pictures of our house on the internet and recommending Real Estate attorney. Aside from that, she was incredibly lacking. It?s a damn shame she collected a check for doing hardly any work!! The Real Estate attorney should have gotten her commission. If you want a dedicated, responsive, respectful Real Estate Agent, this is not the person for you. Trust me find someone else. Less

This was my first house so I was a nervous wreck the whole time. Beverly kept me calm and re-assured me along the way. When it came down to negotiating the price of the property, she was tough and stood her ground. The price she got was $14k below the asking price and it turned out to be only $2k below the assessed value of the property. I couldn't have asked for a better Agent than Beverly.

I contacted Beverly a few months ago after reviewing her profile here in Zillow. My wife and I were looking to purchase our first home and after identifying a property, we were searching for a buyer's agent to represent our interest. We scheduled a meeting at her office to go over the process and it went well. She was professional and seemed like a nice person to work with. We are purchaing from a builder and asked Beverly to negotiate a slightly lower price for us but that did not materialize as it is normal for builders to have very little to no room for price negotiation. We finally agreed to a price and had scheduled a date to sign the purchase agreement. The entire process left a very bad taste in our mouths because of a few reasons but more inportantly these two. 1. Beverly wasn't very responsive. I would sent emails with questions to her and would have to follow up with calls to get a response. She made promises to provide us with information and would not deliver until I had to follow up with a call. I understand that people can be busy so this was not a huge problem although not what I had expected. 2. The most fustrating thing happened on the day we were scheduled to sign our purchase contracts. We were supposed to meet at the builder's office at 11AM and Beverly DID NOT show up. Not only did she not show up, but she did not call, email, text or give us any heads up. We attempted to reach her via phone calls, text msgs, and emails but got no reponse. Sometime after 10PM that night I recieved a TEXT MSG from her stating she could not make it due to a death in her family. We're intelligent and rational people. I certainly wouldn't expect her to make the meeting if she's dealing with a loss but it's common professional courtesy to give us a call or send me an email saying sorry but I wont be able to make it. To this date (its been 3 months), we haven't gotten a call, email or anything else from Beverly to even ask 'How'd it go'. Our last communication was the text she sent that night. She's aware that we've signed the contract and I'm sure she'll sure up after we closed the property next spring to collect her check. I don't ever write reviews but I just had to because we weren't treated with any regartd or respect and we were very disappointed with her services. Less

It all started back in Jan , 2011, when i made a phone call to Cauldwell Realty knowing the "journey" of selling my house in E.B. will be a trying one. on the other end of the phone answered a lady , who was very soft spoken. My first thoughts were one of caution. I began to explain just exactly what might be in store with selling this home. Without hesitation , Beverly said she was "on board" for the duration. I thought maybe three or four months and Beverly would stop answering her phone. Boy was i wrong ! For the next 15 months , Beverly was so incredible. Beverly was so dedicated , patient , knowledgeable and went "above and beyond " anything i ever expected !! Even when it tooks months dealing with my ex who still lived in the house , just to be able to get into the entire house, Beverly never waivered !! Beverly just kept moving foward, showing the house "whenever" she could . Even with my ex trying to sabotage the sale and then the short sale of the house , nothing could deter her from keeping her "promise" to "stay the course" ! In all my life i've never met someone who had met so many obstacles and stay with it till the job was complete !!!! Beverly Lyons in my opinion, should receive an award for most dedicated , patient , knowledgeable and professional real estate agent . Ms. Lyons was recommended to us by our other realtor because we changed locations. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Her patience and expertise helped us select our first home. I am a first time home buyer and Beverly was very helpful and very nice. Honest and wasn't pushy. She was very knowledgeable about the area where I wanted to buy a house. There were some snags in the process, but Beverly handled everything perfectly. When I wrote Beverly an email she was very prompt with a response.
