He waited until after I was in TX and ready to view the homes to tell me if I didn't have a pre-approval in hand, then I couldn't see houses. Therefore I couldn't see any houses he and I had been corresponding about. Since I'm a veteran and can get a VA loan (this would be our 3rd house), I had assumed I would be alright and know what I was getting into. Guess I was wrong.

My wife and I were 1st time home buyers when I contacted Mike from this website. Even though we had a general idea about what type of home we wanted to buy, we ended up relying heavily on Mike's experience about homes and neighborhoods, and it paid off when we closed on a fantastic house last week. Mike was extremely detailed as I was purchasing my first home and was a little overwhelmed.
