My fiancée and I had wanted to look into buying a home for the first time. I had talked to several realtors on the phone in my search to buy a home for the first time ever. When they found out I didn't have hundreds of thousands to spend, they tried to encourage me either to get financed for more or just dropped me. I knew I could get a home and I needed an agent to believe that too. Along came Lynn Milone. I called about a property listed through her agency (Realty USA, Queensbury). She was personable, interested, encouraging and knowledgeable. She immediately gave me an appointment so we could review the ins and outs of homebuying. At the appointment I was so impressed by her knowledge and professionalism. She had easily understandable material to help me out and worked with me at my level. Never once was I made to believe that I wouldn't be able to find a good home for what I could afford. She gave me hope. Lynn obviously puts a lot of time into listening to the person's needs and wants in a home and then more time into researching what fits that criteria. She encouraged me not to sell myself short and gave me the price range I should be looking in - I had limited myself believing that I needed to stay close to my price range. She gave me valuable tips on how to increase my field of options. She wasn't afraid to work hard for me and, as a result, in about two weeks time I had an offer accepted on a great house with a little land - all appliances, central air, recessed lighting, almost brand new roof, 2 car garage, gazebo, hot tub, 2 bathrooms, HUGE screened in porch, great condition and she negotiated the price to under $85,000 for me!!!! She has explained the process clearly as I went along, took all of my annoying "question calls" (you are a saint, Lynn) and is clearly educating me on the process now between acceptance of offer and closing. Lynn was amazing. After going through 4 other agents that wouldn't give us the time of day, Lynn was a breath of fresh air. Always professional, great to work with.
