Kara helped us buy a short sale house and then went far above and beyond to help expedite the sale. She helped us get into the house that we just love and made a potentially stressful sales process totally reasonable - cutting through the red tape whenever she could and keeping us informed every step of the way. Frist of all, we wouldn't have found or purchased this property without Kara. She's a very energetic, personable and agent with a lot of skills. We met Kara when down for a visit to Apalachicola. We had had some casual conversations prior to our trip and decided to give her a call concerning some property she had mentioned to us. With very short notice she managed to schedule showing for us. (Note: Lynn and I also indicated to Kara that we were just viewing property with the hope of a purchase down the road. However that didn't seem to dampen her efforts or make her shy away because of our unlikely interest to buy at this time. ) After meeting with Kara at the property we immediately took a liking to her. She showed the property and gave us detailed information on the history of the past owners and its' features. After viewing the property, my wife and I thanked Kara for her assistance and indicated that we still weren't in a position to pursue a purchase. Kara thanked us and let us know she was still available to help and inform us of other properties that might be of interest. After a few days of family discussion, we realized the property's potential and decided to contact Kara for a second visit which she again accommodated. The second tour was what we needed to decide to make an offer, and we did! This is where Kara really kicks in by making it happen. First, she got us pre-approved in a matter of 2 hour's so we could make the offer. Second, she stepped us through the process and started us down the path in order to make the official offer which we eventually did. Well, to make a long story short, after a second competitive offer it was accepted. A long month of work involving insurance brokers, roof repair, loan mortgage, house inspections, survey and the ugly title company in Plantation , Fl. making us do the closing twice, we eventually succeeded! Kara was actively involved in the process the whole way and her very reliable sources in: ? Loan pre-qualification ? Property inspection ? Insurance broker ? Local attorney ? Kara knows the local market very well. Zoning, insurance, and utilities questions were answered promptly. She worked with other agents in a proactive manner to help me find a property. She helped arranged a survey and the closing with no issues. This had to be the easiest property transaction I have ever been involved with.
