After taking a new job which required relocation, my family and I were on a time restraint to find a new home in the area. My wife and I have purchased numerous homes in the past few years, from primary residences to investment homes and were not new to the process of buying a home, but doing so on such a time constraint was definitely a new adventure. Malcom and Jolynne were so awesome through our home buying process. We were pressed for time and coming from out of town. They were very responsive and worked around our schedule. They were very helpful in finding houses that matched our criteria, and provided expert opinions when we had any questions or concerns about a house. We are first-time homebuyers and had an exceptional experience with Malcolm Ash. We had been using his website to browse MLS listings for several months before seriously looking into buying a home. When we did inquire about a property online, Malcolm called us within a couple of hours and we immediately felt comfortable with him. Since we were coming from out of state, we spent a few weeks communicating with Malcolm by email, revising our list of properties we planned to look at, and discussing the most important characteristics we were looking for. He was extremely responsive, returning emails or phone calls very quickly. We arrived in Portland with one weekend to look at properties and Malcolm was fully prepared to work within our time constraints.
