Buying my first house was one of the most exciting and stressful experiences of my life, but Sandi not only made one of my lives biggest decisions less stressful, but she made my dream come true. Let me start by saying if it was not for Sandi's amazing ability to truly be there for me, not only as a realtor but also as someone who cares, I would not have ended up with the house that I wanted. It took me eight months starting in January of 2012, looking at about 15 to 20 different properties in numerous communities and multiple disappointments with the community that I wanted to get into, but it finally happened. I was determined to move into my desired area in mountains edge and Sandi went above and beyond what I ever expected a realtor to do. Almost every house in my community was, and still is, in short sale because the original prices of these homes were so high, but going into this "adventure" as I like to refer to it, Sandi made me very aware of what I was getting into. She let me know the pros and cons of dealing with a short sale. She taught me how the sale of a HUD home works, she even guided me in the right direction when it came to what my best options were for each and every different property I bid on, and in this community it was 7! Sandi was very patient and knowledgeable about every question, concern, and doubt I had. She even answered my obnoxious amounts of phone calls, which would range from probably 20 to 30 a day. During the process I ended up having surgery on two herniated disks in my neck, which left me unable to drive. Sandi took the time to drive all the way to Henderson to pick me up and personally take me out to properties on the market in my desired community in Mountains Edge. Round trip it had to be at least an hour if not more with traffic, she was sincerely dedicated. Most people think that realtors are just out to make a buck and make their next commission, but Sandi honestly wanted me to get the house I desired. She took time out of her personal life and on foot, physically knocked on people?s doors in this community and left flyers on doors asking if anyone was in the market to sell their house. Finally after all of her hard work for almost eight months, one of the property owners called her up and said they wanted to sell. Within 24 hours my offer was submitted and accepted. Almost two months later I was in the home of my dreams. When my first lender royally screwed everything up which forced me to switch to another lender during the loan process, it set my closing date back by a month. Sandi used here charm, knowledge and expertise to convince the owners for an extension, TWICE!! She promised me results and boy did she deliver. I am beyond thankful to Sandi Oberling for her efforts, dedication and handwork. She really is the true definition of a realtor. I will use no one else in the Las Vegas area for my future real estate needs except for Sandi and I would highly suggest you do the same.
