My husband and I recently purchased a home that The LaSalle Team was selling and it was a terrible experience. My real estate agent and us were lied to the entire time by this company and their client, which we found out after the home was purchased. The contract we signed was not followed or completed as stated. The work that the seller agreed to finish was not finished or finished correctly and the seller threw a fit at closing, when asked to fix them, which we are sure was done on purpose. We now have to spend loads of money to fix all the mistakes that the seller did/did not do to our home. The experience was absolutely horrible and I would never purchase a home from this group again and will discourage everyone I know to do the same. I've never dealt with such unreliable and untrustworthy "business" people in my life. Less

I contacted The LaSalle Team on a Friday after reading the positive reviews. I was looking for a buyer's agent for an investment property in which I was interested. Pete called me back right away, and had his partner Jim, the mortgage broker, contact me right away also. I asked Pete if he could show me a specific property, and he said yes, although he didn't seem too enthusiastic about it. He told me to call Jim, and that he would get back in touch with me. Well, Jim left me a message first, and when I called him back he didn't know who I was and didn't realize he called me first. I explained the information I found regarding financing, and he said he would research it and get back to me either Saturday or Monday. I didn't hear back from either of them, and by Monday I had already contacted the listing agent of the property in which I was interested, and found two lenders who only required 10% down for an investment property, which Jim insisted was not possible but he would research it. Needless to say I'm funded and ready, but will NOT be calling these guys back. Truly a disappointment. Less

I worked with Renata and let me tell you, she is a gem! I just happened upon the LaSalle team's website when I started our home search and I am so thankful that I did. From start to finish, Renata was on it. We were very happy with the negotiation she did, as well as the recommendation for Jim Forrest as their preferred mortgage broker. Jim and his assistant Christin closed our loan with ease, even though there were some issues that we had to take care of first. Renata was always available, by text, email, and phone to answer any questions. 90% of the time she would check in with me the exact day we would think, "hmm we haven't heard any updates," like she has ESP! I can not say enough good things about Pete and Renatta LaSalle, they came to my house told me how many days they thought it would take to sell my house. They were wrong, they sold it in "half"as many days as they predicted. The advertising was tremendous, I had non-stop showings on my home by numerous realtors. Selling a home is stressful, Pete and Renatta made the sell totally stressfree.

We felt a little pushed to put in a bid on the home we liked but we knew we really wanted it so we put in the bid. I felt like we shouldn't have used the listing agent as our buying agent but it was our first home and we really didn't know any better. They really got everything done for us and quickly. We had some problems with getting the inspection done. But I feel like most of the problems I had I really had with HUD. This was just our first home and there was a lot I didn't understand and I didn't know what questions to ask so I felt in the dark sometimes through the process.
