What a great experience! We contacted Kevin after seeing one of his listings on Zillow. We set an appointment to meet him at the house and were prepared for 'the usual' agent to show up. Where do I start? My brother and I have SO many good things to say about Kevin. We started the process and closed in less than three months. I was looking for something pretty specific, but he also moved FAST when we needed him. We really felt like we had superman on our side, fighting for us, when it came to dealing with an annoyingly unresponsive listing agent and bank from the bank owned property we bought. I would recommend him very highly to anyone else. He was referred to me by Erick Byrd of RPM mortgage in Berkeley. I yelped him, and did some of my own research and he's closed over 300 houses! I was going after an REO/bank owned in a specific neighborhood, I wanted experience with that, and he knew exactly what to do. Here's what I appreciated most, compared to stories friends' have related about their agents and buying experiences: When we saw a really good property--he didn't waste time in putting in offers that sounded great from our end, but that wouldn't get accepted. Putting in a bid, waiting, waiting, waiting, then getting rejected because you were too cheap is extremely frustrating. Kevin knew very acutely what these properties (above OR below listing) would ultimately sell for. He was dead on for the house we closed on. And he was right. And when our offer was accepted he got right to work, no BS. I really appreciated the small things too, like him fighting the bank to not charge us per diem when we had to go a few days past the projected close date. Be warned with bank owned properties--it's hurry, hurry, hurry up--and then wait. They expect you to get paperwork back to them in hours, but make you wait weeks for a simple response.
