I met Matt when my wife and I were in the market to buy a house. We didn't buy the house he was listing, but were impressed enough to have him represent us thereafter in purchasing a house. He was helpful, patient, innovative, and responsive to every question or call we put in to him. He protected our interests every step of the way so that we felt in control of the process at all times. When the purchase of our house hit a major last minute snag that was caused by the sellers, he came up with a creative solution that saved us a carload of money and still got us our house!! We thought so much of Matt's representation that we hired him to sell our previous house even though it wasn't in a town in which he had been selling. He did a ton of research just to be able to sell our house at a good price, and he got us $ 25,000 more than the previous agent we had spoken to had said we could get for our old place. Mike Colombo was our agent as we looked for a condo in the Norfolk-Middlesex counties area of MA during the late summer/early fall of 2010. We had looked in the area since selling our house in Monroe, NY in June,2009 and had been renting in the Franklin area in the interim. We had originally intended to retire to the Chapel Hill/Raleigh, NC area (and had looked there, especially the town of Cary), but the birth of our first grandchild in MA naturally changed our plans. Our first two times out with Mike were near misses because he was very thorough in his presentations and perceptive in what we would like , after his first interview with us. He kept sending us listings through his website after we decided on a two week house hunting moratorium to go on vacation. One of the listings caught our eye and we asked him to show us the condo(which we bought!!).
