I did not know whether to choose a large company with many agents or a smaller company like State Street REG. After talking with Chris, I was convinced that his personalized service, attention to the internet, and excellent location would be advantageous, so I chose him. He could not have been more helpful. His advice was always correct. He did an exhaustive study of comparable properties, and we felt well-prepared. He gave us much more of his time and attention than I would expect from most of his competitors. Chris was solid and dependable during an arduous, contentious negotiation. He was available 24/7, and made excellent use of all forms of communication. I trust Chris completely, and I would recommend him to anyone. Less

My daughter Ashley and I thought Chris did an outstanding job on our buying a condo in Charleston. We were looking for a short sale or foreclosure and were interested in the downtown area. Chris helped us pinpoint property and walk us through the short sale and foreclosure process. Chris continued working with us and on the third try we were successful. We got a great property at a great price. Sally Atwater

We knew very little about real estate procedures and because we were relocating, our communication with Chris was for the most part from out of state. Chris guided us through the entire process every step of the way. His familiarity with the area enabled us to make the best use of our time when we made trips to look at properties. He was always accessible by email or phone and was quick to return calls. We were immediately impressed by his diligence. Chris went above and beyond the call of duty even after closing to make sure we were comfortable with our home. He was truly a pleasure to work with! Less

Chris is a highly capable, organized, bright agent. He is excellent at market analysis, positioning his properties and presenting them. Most importantly, he understands value and is able to present properties and negotiate (in my case their sale) in a professional manner. He was fantastic at follow through on inspections and appraisals. He took charge, always documented actions, decisions and agreements and made sure the deal happened. You couldn't ask for a better buyer or seller representative. Less

Chris was a great help during the purchase of our new home. He provided informed knowledge of the area and market in general as well as specific knowledge of the homes we viewed. He guided us through the homebuying process and was always available for any questions we had. All and all, he made the experience incredibly seamless. Thanks Chris!

Chris was incredible in both his ability to capture the vision my wife and I had in our heads relative to how we wanted to live in Charleston and then matching it to current opportunities in the market. Through continued questioning, observation and thoughtful review of homes available he was very adept at taking us to opportunities that fit our criteria and budget. Something that is so important when searching in such a diverse market like downtown Charleston. Chris has been a delight to work with in both his understanding of the market and his patience while we looked at over 70 homes over the course of nearly a year. Less

Some years after purchasing property on Kiawah Island we were looking for another development near charleston and our Kiawah agent told us Chris Carrara was our man. Chris found us a great piece of property at a terrific price and made the long distance selection and purchase process effortless. It's all about the details and Chris handled them all. Chris is not only a great agent, He's a hell of a nice guy.

We met Chris at an open house he was hosting for another agent. We discussed what we were looking for in a property and within a few days, we heard from him with several possibilities to look at. Over the next several months he spent countless hours with us looking at many prospective homes, and in fact, many different style homes because we changed our minds about what we were looking for many times throughout the buying process. He stuck with us and finally located the condo that we ended up buying. Truly a professional broker and one we would be glad to work with again. Less
