My fiance and I began talking with Tyler earlier this year to learn about the process of purchasing a house. This was going to be our first house, so I think it would be fair to say we had more questions than the typical buyer. One thing I specifically enjoyed is that Tyler allowed us to see homes at our own pace without him telling us about all the wonderful qualities of each house. Tyler helped me sell a house in the summer of 2010. We listed it in early July 2010, had a contract on it in 3 weeks, and closed one month later. Very happy to sell a house quickly in the 2010 market. We're currently working with him to buy a house and to sell another one.

We have worked with Tyler in the past as our Buyers Agent when we were looking for a new home here in Knoxville and he is currently helping us sell our Condo in Knoxville as well. My wife and I love working with Tyler, he is a straight shooter which to us is very important. He has been very honest with us while trying to sell our home and he always presents information to us in an easily understood way. In regards to advice regarding price or changes to our home that will help it show better Tyler is always honest in his view points but lets us make the final decision and we truly value his expert opinion. As a Buyers Agent the biggest things that stood out to us was the fact that he never tried to glaze over/sugar coat things we didn?t like about a home like some agents do. If we did not like the size of a living room, or the layout of a home or anything along those lines he was always honest in his thoughts and never tried to just spin the issue. For example if we thought a living room space was to small we have had another Agent try to spin it and tell us how we could make it work and why it would work and so on and so on, but with Tyler he would take a look, think about it and simply respond something along the lines of "You are right, this is pretty small in comparison to what you guys want, that is a valid concern to keep in mind", on the flip side he is realistic and always let us know if we were wanting something we most likely wouldn?t find in our price point or area. We looked at a home and the other agent was there and anytime we said something negative she immediately tried to spin it, I mean everything we said, it was very annoying. In my opinion what you need in an agent is honesty, not a bunch of spin to make a sale. We are not easy people to work with, I will just come out and say it, we ask for a lot, A LOT, we can be indecisive, headstrong and Tyler always took care of us and never missed a beat.
